Me--OC Awardee

Just read this email from Mr. Roth Hok. Well the content of the email is about how grateful he is for all we, the Organizing Committee members, have contributed to the school in various school activities, and also about the name of those OC awardees to be granted a certificate of appreciation each. Lucky enough, i happen to be one of those to be awarded the certificate too. So are Tha, Hour, Je and Pagna. Of course it should go without saying that we deserve just that. Anyway i did send him a list of names of those involved in the two skits, and came up with really really moving lines in my email hoping that he would be at least touched enough by my words to award those "actors" and "actresses" a certificate each too in recognition of their initiativeness and effort. I am still waiting for his approval, though. I really really hope for the best!!! These folks deserve just as much as we the OC members do. I think it is not only about putting up a good performance. There are more to the two skits than just that. It is apparent that the skits are reflective of group solidarity, the sense of initiative, the sense of belonging and more. These are the important traits that school should be looking out for in their students, and since we, the skits participants, are readily instilled with those, there should not be any reason why being awarded with a certificate each is an impossibility. So the request is still pending...

To Pheary: Well actually i sent names of those skit performers to Mr. ROTH Hok already, and he is taking this issue as to whether to award the actors and actresses very seriously. So just hope for the best!!

mentality!!!

Well, I am more or less like an adult now in the sense that i earn my own money and stuff. Though i quite enjoy working at ITC quite a lot, there is something inside me that keeps popping up every now and then, and makes all the excitement and all the energy go away. "Why in God's name i never grow up?" You may ask! Well yeah i definitely know that separation is part of learning and growth, but i just seem incapable of grappling with it very well.
