Daddy---dedicated to a very good friend of mine
1. Any man can be a father. It takes someone special to be a dad. (unknown)
2. Dads don't need to be tall and broad-shouldered and clever. Love makes them so.
-- Pam Brown
3. It doesn't matter who my father was; it matters who I remember he was.
-- Anne Sexton
4. It's only when you grow up and step back from him - or leave him for your own home-it's only then that you can measure his great-ness and fully appreciate it.
-- Margaret Truman
5. Life doesn't come with an instruction book; that's why we have fathers.
-- H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
6. The greatest gift I ever had came from God, and I call him Dad!
-- Anonymous
7. Up on his shoulders... is where i love to be.
-- Michael Carr
8. When a father gives to his son, both laugh; when a son gives to his father, both cry.
-- Jewish Proverb
9. 4 years: My Daddy can do anything!
7 years: My Dad knows a lot…a whole lot.
8 years: My father does not know quite everything.
12 years: Oh well, naturally Father does not know that either.
14 years: Oh, Father? He is hopelessly old-fashioned.
21 years: Oh, that man-he is out of date!
25 years: He knows a little bit about it, but not much.
30 years: I must find out what Dad thinks about it.
35 years: Before we decide, we will get Dad's idea first.
50 years: What would Dad have thought about that?
60 years: My Dad knew literally everything!
65 years: I wish I could talk it over with Dad once more.

A message from me: Rows are inevitable. Some words slip off his tongue, cutting you into slices without his meaning to. Now that you are so hurt by those words, he is two times more hurt by his own words. Each time he whips you with his words, he is actually whipping himself too. Each time you walk away from him and cry, he locks himself up in his room late at night and cry too. Each time you are so angry with him over what he has done to you, he is also so angry with himself over what he himself has done to you too. My friend, in all those times, he loves you with a love that is too deep to even be displayed through everyday actions and speeches. Do not blame yourself for what has happened cos that's probably the last thing he wishes you to do.
Let it go!
Let it go!
