Honesty

When you think about being honest do you focus on being truthful with your words? Most people say they are honest most of the time. Do you believe them?

I would like you to look at honesty from a different perspective. Are you being honest with yourself? Do you see your truth or do you move into denial and justification? Something to consider as you move through this week.

Honesty? I don't think honesty exists. Well, one question to think. Do you personally believe that someone is really honest with you? I think we, ourselves, are not even honest to our own self, let alone to the other people. My answer is that I don't think i've been honest with myself lately!

The term 'honesty' alone has a broad meaning. It's so broad and abstract that I don't really know whether I posess this quality or not.
To Hour: True!! WE are not even honest with ourselves, let alone with others. It is funny how our teachers and parents have always been giveing long-winded lectures about being honest...
To PM: The term "honesty" is subjective, so you are the one choosing one of the many interpretations that you feel can best describe the term.

What is honesty? Telling the truth to me is not always the right thing to do.. Most of the times in our lives, we have to lie to others n ourselves to minimize the complication of the truth.. Lying is not bad as long as we do it for the benefits of everyone and not for our own selfishness..
and i believe that, not all the times we want to hear the truth..

It's a constant struggle for us to to be honest of all time. Honesty does hurt sometimes, and thats y we people don't wanna accept the reality, and shun them with a great fear. This might sound pretty weird for us to fool ourselves, but somehow, fool has its own benefit. It's a gift to make us giggle to ourselves or to fly up high as a balloon while truth is a gift of crying.

We fool ourselves, we can therefore feel the better. We feel hurt if people treat us as a fool, cuz the thing is we hate to be fooled.

I think I should learn how to fool myself, Ven! Being too honest is a jest! It saved us a lot of heartache! and it sometimes make us feel like we should do nth but surrender.

Oh Ven! Turtle also fool himself either! Honestly speaking, I was astonished seeing our Turtle frn posted some kind of inner post. Just have a hand shaking with him :)I saw him walking alone on the way to and back from college. The thing is, he just couldn't make it faster! Nonsense? Kind of :) don't care, anyway.

Honesty? I really like people who is honest to each others... But sometime i am also not honest with myself too. Anyway, when i am not honest with myself, i will feel something is wrong in mind... That's why i know mayb i did something wrong with myself or with other one...
To Nan: Nice justifications you have got there lol...But yeah somtimes it is to better to tell a white lie than to spit out the truth cos some truths are kinda painful.
To BarBEE: agree that lying has its benefits sometimes. But BarBEE< fooling yourself too much and too often does more harm than good cos it lands you somehere in the dreamland which is too perfect to be real. When there are problems and you fool yourself into believing that there is nothing wrong, the stitutaions may get worse without proper actions to be taken. Anyway, Turtle?? Well...he is the slowestr sea creature so when it comes to walking, the word "fast"doesn't exist in his dictionary.
To Vita: thanks for dropping by:-) WEll, i believe everyone is not honest all the time, so it is natural to realise that you are not honest with yourself sometimes:-)
