Heart Shapes

Heart shapes! Surprising that in our everyday life we fail to notice that heart can take form almost everywhere with almost everything. A ring. Clouds. Even your hands. As astonishing as it may sound, just seeing the heart shape can bring floods of tears down the cheeks, for some people. People , in general, tend to be too independent of the field that when they look at the heart shape alone, they do not just see what they are actually seeing; they take a big leap to penetrate through the covering layer and emerge at the other end of the meaning. The heart shape, to them, is LOVE. Poor thing! If the heart shape could talk, it would be voicing its grievances aroused by the unfair treatment thrust upon them by the living beings. If the heart shape had one wish, its one wish would be to detach itself from LOVE, which, to the world out there, is the root of anxieties!

hehehe...the thought just, all of a sudden, popped up in my mind...no...actually, a heart shape is simply a heart shape, you know...but ppl dun stop there. They go one step beyond that to always think of love when they see a heart shape...hehe

Gosh!!! Ven, is it this kinda stuff--I mean analysing things both tangible and intangilbe-- that you're being taught in AL class? To me, it seems like u're posting a philosophical description.

Right! I'm one of those people who tend to see beyond just a heart shape when it's actually merely a heart shape. So the heart shape is so powerful that it can move people to smiles and tears.

So!You're one of those!I remember being told by my AL lecturer that you must be the master of the language and not the other way round. So just see a heart shape as it merely is...

heh hehe, when seeing the word AL here, i can't help laughing u know.. it seems pp are so into and very AL now after a semester studying AL :) hahha.. so be independent huh, dun be field dependent :) should see beyond the reality. it's something behind its back. so pp are not normal, they're beyond what they are. don't expect they are the way they do. they're more than that.

It's kinda strange, you know!I mean, we all keep complaining about AL but at the end of the day, AL is our favourite subject...hehe...You're right, ice, about the fact that ppl are always wearing masks, and that we should try to remove the masks and see the real "them". But then, sometimes it makes you develop this mistrust among ppl around you subconsiously, u know!

The Good Old Time (2003)

I got this pic from Mov's facebook profile. Oh man!!! This pic is almost as old as our friendship. We were small and innocent and pretty carefree back then. If i am not mistaken, the pic was taken during our field trip to the Science Center, and those so many energetic young faces you are staring at were scholars from most of the ASEAN countries. Nostalgic indeed!!! Too bad that we have lost touch for quite some time now, and i have no idea what most of them are up to now. Loads of thanks to Mov, without whom i would not have had a chance to get hold of this priceless pic. At least in those many years ahead, i have got a pic of everyone smiling at hand, to which i can always refer for recalling sake.
