Worry

I am worried sick now! I read the papers today this morning, and the Thai troops were increasing in size from about 165 in total yesterday to 200 something already, according to local papers. I can't believe that the fraternal bond between Cambodia and Thailand is being stretched at both ends that it might just, you know, break if no immediate actions are taken to grapple with the gravity of the situation. Some Khmer families near this Wat--i can't remember the name--actually fled their homes and sought shelter and protection from the Khmer troops stationing there at Preah Vihear. Despite the fact that constant negotiation is in progress, one can feel the tension. Nevertheless our Prime Minister has made it clear that AT ALL COSTS there MUST NOT be fighting back if firing breaks out.

I am sincerely in constant hope that this turbulence is over soon, and that Thailand and Cambodia are on good terms once again. After all, we are neighbors and despite the cultural diversity and all, there has always been such understanding between us. We all should never let the past haunt the present!

I don't understand why can't we just cohabitate in peace? No idea...

Sigh... Really sad over this matter.. I don't understand also why there can't be peace between neighbours? it only brings cons.
To BarBEE: it's a political tool, i think!! THere is this social unrest tearing away at our neighbor's peace. So this is when a bad "ïnternal" opportunist comes into play!!!
To Ice: yeah dude...me worried sick!!! Never have i ever seen that situation is this tense!!
