Lousy Hackers
Hope you get this on time? Sorry I didn't inform
you about my trip to Spain for a program, I am presently in Madrid and
am having some difficulties here because i misplaced my wallet on my way
to the hotel where my money and other valuable things were. presently
my passport and my things are been held down by the hotel management
pending when i make payment.
I need you to help me with a loan of (2,600 Euro = $3,300) to pay
my hotel bills and to get myself back home. I will appreciate whatever
you can afford to assist me with, I will refund the money back to you as
soon as i return, let me know if you can be of help and I will email
you the details you will need to send the money. I don't have a phone
where i can be reached. I am so confused right now. please let me know

The funny thing is I had just seen him in the office earlier that day. How could he possibly have gone to Madrid in a matter of two hours or so? Could he have teleported? Anyways, back then I was not the only one receiving the email. Apparently, a lot more approached him for this matter. What bugs me a lot, though, is why Madrid? Why Spain? The email i received this morning and this email bore the content of making Madrid the place of the incidents. Does that means there is this huge group of IT geeks apparently in Spain dedicating their whole lives to simply hacking people's email accounts? And yeah, I doubt if in this era of technology there are still people who are not smart enough to tell a fraud apart from a reality. If these hackers seriously earn their livings through solely hacking emails and sending lame stuffs like this, they are going to end up starving themselves to death!
